Interlibrary Loan Policies

What is InterLibrary Loan (ILL)?

InterLibrary loan is a service that allows us to request items from other libraries on the behalf of patrons.

How do I request an item through InterLibrary Loan?

There are several ways to submit a request:

  • Fill out the form below;
  • Call the library 719.486.0569
  • Email lcpl@lakecountypubliclibrary.org

I received a message that my InterLibrary Loan item arrived, where do I pick it up and where do I return it?

All items are picked up and returned at Lake County Public Library. You treat InterLibrary Loan items just like you would any other item from our library.

Can I renew InterLibrary Loan items?

Yes! However, the length of time and number of renewals will vary based on the lending library.
