There are classic books that stand the test of time and are enjoyed by readers to this day. This is a bi-monthly group that includes tweens (8-13 year-olds), but all youth are welcome to join if the books are of interest. We will read one book a month and meet every other week to discuss the book, have snacks, make friends, and share our love of reading as we explore classic literature!
Register to receive updates and stay in the loop for Tween Bookclub.
- This group is run by Jenny, a teacher with 20 years of experience in education and libraries, as well as a lifelong passion for reading.
- Meets the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month (October 11th canceled) from 10:00-11:00AM.
- Copies of the book are obtainable on a first-come-first-serve basis. Sometimes these will be library books that will need to be returned, and sometimes these will be brand new books that you can keep!
- A librarian is always happy to help order a copy of the book from another library if no copies are readily available.
- Participation is FOR FUN! Feel free to skip a month if the book is not of interest to you.
- Have suggestions for Tween Bookclub? Come to a meetup!
