Costume Exchange
October 1-24 | During all open hours
Oct 1-21: Drop off gently used halloween costumes during regular hours. (Please do NOT put in the book drop or leave out front.)
Oct 22-24: Pick up whatever costume you'd like during regular hours.
Don't forget to join us on Friday, October 23rd for our Spooky Fun at the Library event from 4-6pm. With fun for all ages, we hope to see you there!
Spooky Fun at the Library
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23 | 4-6PM | All Ages
Get into the Halloween spirit at the library! Wear your costume if you’d like and join us for an evening of spooky fun, snacks, crafts, and prizes.
- 4-5pm: Play Halloween Bingo for your chance to win prizes!

5-6pm: Create and decorate your custom tote bag for spooky season! Use
- Add spooky decals with the heat press
- Bedazzle your bag with gems
- Get creative with paint and markers

Costume Contest
- Come dressed up and vote for your favorites in different categories! (Don't forget, you can pick up your free costume from the LCPL Costume Exchange while you're here!)

Spooky Snacks
- Enjoy some Halloween-themed treats while you celebrate.

Hair Tinsel
- Add a little sparkle to your Halloween look!
Come for one activity or stay for the whole evening. Costumes are encouraged but not required!

In partnership with CSU Extension.
Play with LEGOs and practice programming skills! Using the Library's LEGO robotics kits along with the LEGO Mindstorms app, youth can build and program robots of their own creation.
Program Dates:

- Wednesday, October 28th; 4-5:30pm
- Wednesday, November 4th; 4-5:30pm
- Friday, November 13th; 4-5:30pm

For Ages 8+, limited to 9 participants.

Every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, join us at the Library to play Minecraft with friends!
Ages 5-12.

Join us for Little Explorers, a fun and engaging program where young children build motor skills, develop bilingual language abilities in English and Spanish, and make new friends through interactive play.

Fridays | 3-5:00pm | Ages 12+ (but all ages are welcome)
Every Friday, build decks, trade cards, and challenge friends to matches. Suggested for ages 12+ but all interested are welcome!

2nd Wednesday every month | Suggested Ages 8-12
Have fun crafting and creating with a new project every month! Geared for ages 8-12 but all are welcome. (If younger, bring a grown up with you to help.)

Enjoy fun read-alouds in English and Spanish, along with engaging activities for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers. Together we'll foster early literacy through reading, singing, talking, writing, and playing in a welcoming bilingual environment.
