By American Red Cross. Provides instant help to handle the most common emergencies (medical and disaster).
MedlinePlus (mobile website)
By the National Institutes of Health is for patients and their families and friends. Provides information about diseases, conditions, treatments, drugs, wellness issue, and more.
Prodigy Patient
Prodigy is accredited by UK’s National Institute of Clinical and Health and Care Excellence (“NICE”). Search by body part, symptom, condition, and more.
UpToDate for Patients and Caregivers (mobile webpage)
Access 1,500 "Beyond the Basics" patient education topics. Patient articles include full-color pictures, graphics, and charts to help the reader understand his or her condition and to reinforce key messages regarding care.
WebMD (mobile app or website)
Provides valuable health information on conditions, medicine, test & procedures, medical terms, symptom checker, first aid info, and local health listings.
